What is DRDO Internship Program 2025?
DRDO Internship is an short time training program of 6 months organised by Scientific Analysis Group (SAG) under the Defence Research and Development Organisation. Through this program the government will select 40 eligible students for this internship and train them about research and technology. Along with the free learning selected students will also get monthly stipend of Rs. 5,000. This allowances will credited to the students bank account in two equal installments of Rs. 15,000 after the completion of training.

SAG DRDO Internship 2025 Stipend Details
Students curious to know the internship allowance as informed that the government will provide Rs. 30,000 to each and every intern. Students will receive total 30 thousand rupees after completing the internship program. This amount is credited in students bank account in two equal amounts of Rs. 15,000. The first installment was credited after 3 months of training and next internship will credited after completion of 6 months. Interns must note that no extra expenses like food, travel, accommodation, etc. will be your own responsibility. In case if any students leave the internship in between or do not attend the program regular the stipend will not credited.
Who Can Apply?
Only selected students are eligible to apply for the DRDO internship scheme. As per the official update students enrolled for full time engineering courses like B.E, B.Tech, M.Tech or M.Sc and have completed their third year (sixth semester) and should be entering the final year in August 2025. Applicants having backlogs in the first five semesters are not eligible. Along with this students must be ready for the 6 months internship on their own expenses.

DRDO Internship 2025 Terms & Condition
- This internship will offered only in subjects related to SAG DRDO’s research areas.
- Students are not allowed to take unnecessary leave expect sick leave with a valid medical prescription.
- If any students leave the internship before 6 months he or she is not eligible for the certificate and stipend.
- This internship does not guarantee a job with DRDO after completion.
- The internship vacancies and selection rules may change by the DRDO at any moment.
- If any student breaks the rules can terminated without warning.
Selection Process
The DRDO Internship selection process is simple and based on merit list. There is no interview and any kind of entrance test. Students who score minimum 85% or 8.5 CGPA in their academics are allowed to apply for the internship. Then applications will shortlisted thorough merit list based on their marks. After that selected students will call for the document verification. Finally an e mail is send to the selected students for joining the internship.
